Money

Coins, paychecks, and The Dump

Coins, once called Moneyz, come from deliveries, a 200-coin daily check, manager bonuses, and resale at The Dump.

Coins are the only currency. They were called Moneyz until the 2018 rename. You spend them on house upgrades, furniture, gear, and the 800-coin house like button. Robux passes are separate and are not turned into coins unless that pass says so.

Documented income

Source Amount Limit
Starter check 500 Once
Daily check 200, or 400 with VIP Once each real day
Bonus check 150 Manager only, 10-minute cooldown
Normal delivery 10 per pizza or Fizzly Pays people who worked
Same-house streak +2 per extra order in a row On top of the base
Golden delivery Double All orders during the 4-minute Double Time
Rainbow delivery 10 times Rainbow pizza or Fizzly, including Neon Time
Uncashed paycheck Whatever you left Claim the check you did not take last session

Paychecks are listed as twice per in-game day, daytime and nightfall. Stars scale what you receive to 100%, 80%, 30%, or 0%. VIP's store text adds 50% more Moneyz per paycheck and doubles daily checks, which matches 200 becoming 400.

Two chest figures

One writeup says the rocky island northwest of the restaurant has a chest that pays 700 coins once. Another coin list on the same reference calls a secret-island chest 1,500 coins once. Those numbers were not reconciled. Open whichever chest you find and read the grant you actually get. Do not plan a route around both payouts being true at once.

Money bags are listed with a maximum of 2,000 coins and a note that each coin gives 200. That wording is ambiguous, so check the bag in your inventory before you count on a 2,000-coin drop.

The Dump

Mr. Builder runs The Dump. Discounts go up to 90% off the catalog price. Selling an item returns it at a 75% reduction of the original price, meaning you receive 25% of the catalog price. A 100-coin item bought at 90% off costs 10 and sells back for 25, which is a 15-coin gain, the "15% of the original price" profit described for that loop. Locked dump items, once bought, unlock in the catalog.

Paint buckets have been free since January 23, 2017. Before that, clerks at the Dump painted house parts for coins. The Dump itself was closed from January 23, 2017, through January 31, 2019. Sell unwanted furniture at the front counter of the Dump. The old buyer on the jungle island no longer purchases items.

An off-sale Unlimited Moneyz pass set Moneyz to 99,999 every time you joined. It is not for sale. Community history says owners were compensated with VIP. That does not put infinite coins on a new account.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Work at a Pizza Place have promo codes?

No. There is no reward redemption box, and there is no expired reward-code list because the feature is not part of the game. Words typed in chat do not grant coins. A television in a house can show a Roblox asset, and that is not a reward code.

Which job pays the most?

None of them has a private wage. Delivered pizzas pay the people who worked. Stars then scale that paycheck to 100%, 80%, 30%, or nothing. Pick the empty station that is blocking the line.

What do the stars mean?

Three stars pay the full paycheck, two pay 80%, one pays 30%, and zero pays nothing. A manager can fire a player at zero stars. VIP cannot be nominated for a ban or sent back to work.

How do I stop working?

Walk into a house or choose home when you join. That is On Break. You will not receive delivery coins while you are on it. If you had already worked, the paycheck you earned can still be collected.

How much is the Estate?

The Estate upgrade is 600,000 coins. Buying every classic coin step from the free Shack through the Estate adds up to 946,100 coins. The Estate pass is listed at 3,200 Robux and includes a Jeep.
