Manager, stars, and going on break

One green manager can pay a 150-coin bonus, name Employee of the Day, or fire a player sitting at 0 stars.

There is one manager. The office is by the delivery-room door in the boxing area, with a desk, lamp, chair, shelves, and a plant. Holiday updates change the decor. Only the current manager can enter from outside. Anyone inside can leave. Claim the job by sitting in the black chair after the seat is empty. The team color is green.

What the manager can do

  • Hand out a bonus check. It is blue, worth 150 coins, and can be cashed immediately. There is a 10-minute cooldown between bonus checks.
  • Name Employee of the Day. A gold plaque of that avatar appears in the cashier room, the office, and the boxing room. The cooldown is 15 minutes. The plaque has no other payout.
  • Call a vote to kick a player. Enough votes remove them from the server.
  • Send a slacking or on-break player back to work.
  • Fire a player who has 0 stars, without a vote.

VIP blocks two of those tools. The manager cannot put a VIP back to work and cannot nominate a VIP for a ban.

How the seat opens

The manager leaves the job if any of these happen:

  • Other players reach 8 votes to remove them.
  • They step on the Vote to Remove Manager button.
  • They lose all 3 stars and are fired.
  • They press Quit my Job.
  • They enter a house or use the locker.
  • They leave the server.

Since the December 2017 update, a manager who enters a house gets a confirmation warning that someone else can take the chair. After removal, that player becomes a cashier and the office opens to everyone.

The Manager badge is not "sit in the chair." It is giving a bonus check to 15 players while you are manager.

Stars

Stars Paycheck
3 100%
2 80%
1 30%
0 No paycheck, and the manager can fire you

Players who go on break without having worked do not get a paycheck. Players who worked and then went on break still receive the paycheck they earned. On Break is the gray team. You enter it by walking into your house or someone else's, or by choosing to stay home when you join.

Do not treat star loss as a published timer. Some guides invent a per-hop star penalty and a 15-minute paycheck clock. The job documentation instead ties pay to stars and to whether you worked before the break, and it ties the paycheck schedule to twice per in-game day. Use the in-game check you see, not a timer from an unrelated writeup.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Work at a Pizza Place have promo codes?

No. There is no reward redemption box, and there is no expired reward-code list because the feature is not part of the game. Words typed in chat do not grant coins. A television in a house can show a Roblox asset, and that is not a reward code.

Which job pays the most?

None of them has a private wage. Delivered pizzas pay the people who worked. Stars then scale that paycheck to 100%, 80%, 30%, or nothing. Pick the empty station that is blocking the line.

What do the stars mean?

Three stars pay the full paycheck, two pay 80%, one pays 30%, and zero pays nothing. A manager can fire a player at zero stars. VIP cannot be nominated for a ban or sent back to work.

How do I stop working?

Walk into a house or choose home when you join. That is On Break. You will not receive delivery coins while you are on it. If you had already worked, the paycheck you earned can still be collected.

How much is the Estate?

The Estate upgrade is 600,000 coins. Buying every classic coin step from the free Shack through the Estate adds up to 946,100 coins. The Estate pass is listed at 3,200 Robux and includes a Jeep.
